Do Our Best

Edinburgh Fringe

Do Our Best is a devastating comedy from the exciting new voice of Welsh writer Remy Beasley (Stella, Sky One; Paines Plough Roundabout Season 2016), directed by Fringe First award-winning director, Hannah Banister.

Self-obsessed Sephie finds herself back in the sanctuary of the Girl Guides following the death of her Mother. In a last ditch effort to fend off eternal unhappiness she attempts achieving her Entertainers badge for the fourth time.

Do Our Best follows our anti-heroine as she tries to navigate her numbness in search of her own tribe of women. A story about grief, the complex nature of mothers and their daughters and the valiant pursuit of living when nothing makes sense.
