Written by Oscar-nominated, Italian screenwriter, Franca De Angelis, Sissy boy is a one man show about what it means to live without desire.

Inspired by the behavioural modification experiments  done on 'effeminate' boys at UCLA in the 1970's and 1980's - many of which are still cited and used by those who believe you can 'pray the gay away', Sissy Boy is the funny and moving story of one man's fight to be his true self, no matter the cost.

The production sold out at Teatro Lo Spazio in Rome in January 2014. The first UK production is slated for 2020, to be directed by Sharon Burrell.
